Level 3- The Client Expert

This level does not test manual data entry in QuickBooks. Instead, candidates are tasked to demonstrate communication plus accounting knowledge. This would be for a role that is both client-facing and team-facing.

They are presented with a set of well-maintained books and tasked with choosing a useful bookkeeping system, delegating tasks to a “team,” and proving they can interpret and advise business owners. While candidates navigate QuickBooks during this level, their primary focus is on creating a report presentation highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and a detailed game plan for the business owner. They will also demonstrate knowledge of systems for the bookkeeping firm and send you a video describing their work.
